It shouldn't be necessary to use this tool other than the inital softmod and if you need to get data off the drive of a dead xbox(the latter being the only reason I can think of for needing the master password). the contents of the shared folder can be found in an MS-DOS. when you power off the drive to put it back in the xbox it will be locked correctly. Download atapwd.exe software for PC PCwindows. If you're just trying to softmod using the ndure method, you'll do a hotswap to unlock the drive, then you can do all your file transfers using the ndure utilities. If you unlock the HDD in option 4, the drive will be unlocked until you lock it again, the only temporary unlock i'm aware of (I don't recall it giving you an option when using the pc ndure tool)is from the xbox itself, it sends the unlock code to the drive during boot and it does a temporary unlock until it's turned off. Unlocking with the master password is permanent, but if you don't have a copy of eeprom.bin you can't lock it with the proper password to make it work in that xbox without a different mod (tsop/chip)
